Project Description
A Masterpage for SharePoint 2010 including the twitter bootstrap front-end framework

This project provides a SharePoint 2010 Master Page with all the functionality of the Twitter Bootstrap front end framework!

In its own words Twitter bootstrap is a "Sleek, intuitive, and powerful front-end framework for faster and easier web development." it provides all sorts great styling you can use to easily improve the look of your webpages. Have a look at there website to see all the great stuff it provides http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/

This Masterpage is built ontop of http://startermasterpages.codeplex.com/releases/view/41533 because there awesome and because Twitter bootstrap and the SharePoint V4 Master Page didn't play well together. Some .CSS tweaks were still needed to get this working with the starter Master Pages but they made this much easier!

This site feature will deploy to the _/Layouts folder; 6 files relevant for twitter bootstrap Version 2.2.1 http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/getting-started.html#file-structure and Jquery-1.8.3.min.js

Steps To Use

*Deploy Feature to SharePoint
*Activate TwitterBootStrapMasterPage at Site Collection Level
*Change MasterPage to TwitterBootstrap.master

Update: Twitter Bootstrap and SharePoint 2013 first release A version of the default Seattle master page for SharePoint 2013 has been uploaded with Twitter Bootstrap support. The download includes the master page and the bootstrap.min.css file without the normalize and reset CSS. Simply upload the bootstrap.min.css and tbtweaks.css to the style library of your site. note: tbtweaks.css will contain all the CSS tweaks required to fix any styling issues. The bootstrap.js and jquery files are provided by CDN Then upload the TB.master file to the master page gallery and set your site to use the new TB master page. There are still some minor styling issues with this so please log them here or direct any questions to my site at: http://liampowell.com/bootstrapsharepoint.html
